Biosphere zones means are the terrestrial areas and coastal ecosystems are identified by the UNESCO under "Man and Biosphere " programme. The main aim of Biosphere zones is to protect the biological species and cultural diversity in the India.The UNESCO identifed 18 Biosphere zones in India to enhance and protect the rich plant species ,animal species and rich environmental areas.Biosphere zones having variety types of climatic conditions,rich flora and fauna and home for endemic plant species also the medicinal herbs found in this Biosphere zones.
