Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao means it
is social campaign scheme for the welfare girl child to protect them to save
and educate the girls. As the sex ratio report says that 918 girls per 1000
boys in census 2011 by UNICEF alarming danger levels of sex ration in India. In
order to ensure growth of girls education, save from foeticide, the central
government introduced Beti Bacho, Beti Padhao to save and educate girl child
them to survive, it implemented with an initial amount Rs 100 crores under the
departments of Ministry of Women and Child Development, the Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare and the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Objectives of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao
-Save, protection and survival of girl child.
-Educate the girl child
-Abolishing sex selective tests.
