Polavaram Project is a prestigious project for the state of
Andhra Pradesh to provide water for irrigation and drinking facilities to
people of Andhra Pradesh. The project is controversial for constructing it will
spreads to states of Odisha,Telangana and Chhattisgarh and drowns many villages
especially tribal regions in Odisha and Chhattisgarh. Recently the project gets
national project status,it means 90% of funds allocated by central government.
