Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) is a financial
insurance scheme for the people who are in loss of lives or physical disability
of the people. This scheme helps the poor economically especially they are in
distress due to loss of their lives in their families. Due sudden activities the
member lost their live or physical disability due to accidental or natural, the
affected person cannot work and the family depends on the person faces struggles
economically and starves for education, health and food. These PMSBY helps financially
the family who are in distress with small premium amount.
PMSBY launched on May 9th,2015 by the Indian
Prime minister Narendra Modi to make financial support with less premium amount.
The PMSBY works under the department of Finance Ministry operation to regulate
the insurance companies. To increase the insurance applicants in the country
and make economical security for the people these PMSBY helps in reducing the
poverty.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana PMSBY Premium Amount
The applicants have to pay Rs 12/- per year that means Rs
1/- per month which make poor economical people to join the PMSBY scheme easily
and pay premium amount in their saving bank account.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana PMSBY Eligibility
The people completed 18 years of age and not more than 70
years of age are eligible to join the insurance scheme and must have savings
account in respective bank with Aadhaar seeded.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana PMSBY Benefits
The amount of Rs 2,00,000/- were given for loss of entire life.
In case of Physical disability of life to removal of leg or hand the amount
will be Rs 1,00,000/-

The applicants before applying they must have completed the
age 18 years of age and have a savings bank account. The applicants apply in
the month of June with PMSBY application form and fill the details in the
application and submit to the bank, the bank will auto debit Rs 12/- per year from
your savings account.
Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana PMSBY Insurance Claiming Process
The nominee person will produce relevant documents regarding
death person or disability person for claiming the insurance amount. The nominee
has to produce death certificate or FIR or discharge certificate from a hospital
and submitted to respective bank. The bank verifies the documents and sends
insurance companies, the insurance agents inspect the death person or physical
disable person documents and rectifies their rules and regulations. After the
process is over and finally certifies the insurance amount to their bank branch,
the bank finally the deposits the insurance amount in respective nominee.No suicide case is not eligible for insurance amount.
