Chandranna Bima Scheme Details
Chandranna bima scheme was implemented in the state of
Andhra Pradesh to ensure insurance policies for the people in unorganized
sector due to sudden death or due to physical disability. The chandranna bima
policy details, supporting the poor people in they are distress due to loss of
life in their families though economic approach and stands with their families
in encouraging financial supporting the unorganized sector.
Chandranna Bima Scheme Features
-All the unorganized workers are authorised to register to
join the chandranna bima scheme.
-Assistant Labour officer will be responsibility in registration
of unorganized workers under this scheme.
-SERP facilitates the entry of names, maintenance of records,
hard copies and other relevance with the scheme.
Chandranna Bima Scheme Benefits
-Under this Chandranna Bima Policy Benefits, the accidental
death are Rs 5,00,000/- and total disability amount are Rs 2,25,000/-.And Rs
75,000/- from Aam Admi Bima Yojana (AABY) and Rs 2,00,000/- from Pradhan Mantri
Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY).
-The partial disability of amount Rs 3,62,500/- and Rs
2,25,000/- from State Accident Death and Disability Scheme,Rs 1,00,000/- from
PMSBY and Rs 37,500/- from AABY.
-Under AABY Rs 30,000/- are given for natural death.
-The children’s up to two numbers are getting scholarship an
amount of Rs 1200/- per annum towards studying 9th, 10th,
Intermediate or ITI.

-The Chandranna Bima policy Eligibility conditions are
-The people can join age group 18 to 59 years of age can get
benefits, Accident Death and Total Disability relief Rs 5,00,000/-,Partial
Disability relief: up to Rs 3,62,500/-Natural Death relief: Rs 30,000/-,Scholarship
worth Rs 1200/- per annum per child (up to two children).
-The people can join age group 60 to 70 years of age can get
benefits Accident Death and Total Disability relief Rs 4,25,000/- and Partial
Disability relief Rs 3,25,000/-

The workers in the unorganized sector pay an amount of
annual subscription Rs 15/- as per age rules in the Chandranna Bima Policy Registration.
