Recent Studies about the castor bean tree reduces soil pollution says by researchers University of Hyderabad. The chemicals in the castor beans,leaves, roots and stem of castor plant absorbs the heavy toxic materials from the soil due presence of chemical in castor plant called Chelators.The castor plant and castor bean oil having high medicinal values in curing certain diseases in recent researches by the scientists and also reduce soil pollution due to mining.

Castor oil extraction obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor oil plant.Castor oil is a colourless to very pale yellow liquid with a distinct taste and odour once first ingested. Its boiling point is 313 °C. It is a triglyceride in which approximately 90 percent of fatty acid chains are ricinoleates,Oleate and linoleates are the other components.
