What is Uniform civil code (UCC) -Article 44

Replacing all personal laws of a major religions with a  common code  called  uniform civil code.The major religions in the country following personal laws in the matter of marriage,registration and divorce.The personal laws are devasting the people particularly women in the name of marriage and divorce.The constitution of India declares equal rights to all the people irrespective of caste ,religion and gender but in case of personal laws it prompts unequal among the gender and religions.Article 44 of constitution of the India declares uniform civil code ,it not meant to devast the religious attitude but it is to meant devast the problems of personal laws of religions.
