Functions of Attorney General(AG) of India


Article 76 of the Constitution of India deals with the office of Attorney General of India.He act as a chief law officer appointed by president of India with seal and warrant on behalf of Government of India,he  involves participation of cases on behalf of central government in any court in the India. After retirement AG could not involves as director to any company without permission from government of India, also ban on participating in cases after retirement.

Salary And Allowances of Attorney General Of India


The salaries,Emoluments and removal of AG cannot mentioned in the Constitution of India.The salary,allowances and removal of AG done by President of India.

Functions of Attorney General Of India


* AG discharges duties on behalf of central government issues in any court

* He can attend the sessions of parliament and he has the right to speak in the parliament

* Also act as the member of any committee in the parliament

* He has no right to vote in the parliament in the business transactions.
