The PSLV and GSLV differences are stated below and full details of two launching vehicles are given.
Polar Satellite Launching Vehicle (PSLV)
* PSLV can lift off mass upto 1750 kgs satellites
* PSLV can launch the satellites into polar orbits around 600 to 900 kms altitude
* PSLV used for delivering the remote sensing and earth's observation
* PSLV can lift upto 1400 kgs into elliptical Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit
* PSLV has four stages ,the first and third stages are solid state fuels, the second and fourth stages are liquid stage fuels.
GSLV(Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle )
* GSLV Means derives the full form Geosynchronous Satellite Launching Vehicle
* GSLV can lift upto more than 2500 kgs satellites
* GSLV used for delivering communication satellites
* GSLV can lift upto 5000 kgs satellites into Lower Earth Orbit
* GSLV permenantly fixed in the earth's orbit
* GSLV has three stages first stage is solid motor, second stage is liquid stage and third stage is Cryogenic engine.
